What follows is our provisional decipherment of the markings borne by the Seven Stelae, reconstructed as faithfully as the condition in which they were acquired allows.

Seven, the heptadic seal of completeness: the seven wanderers of the firmament, the sevenfold division of time, the ascending tiers of the sacred temple. The number of a world brought to fullness, the measure of a totality. Seven stelae, seven stations in the great circumvolution: genesis, apotheosis, inscription, slumber, dominion, dissolution, return. The whole concealed within its division.

I. Anamnesis Dei

Sold

The first and last noetic absolute, precipitating through the supernal geometries of its manifestation. The One differentiates, the many proliferate, the totality folds back upon its source: Laplacian omniscience, the antique enigma of divine self-knowing. The cosmos kindles into intelligibility; the uncreated stirs in the fullness of its appearing. Firmament, abyss, first light: the primordial vesture of an origin without remembrance.

II. Hecatombics

Sold

The planetary tithe. Hecatombic oblation, biospheric immolation; the sacred debt compounding beyond altar, sovereign, heaven. A hundred oxen become the earth; the whole terrestrial plenitude is laid upon the altar. Civilisation, divided against itself, furnishes the substance of its supersession. It inherits the accumulated energies of its makers, enthroned in the sacrificial remainder. Apotheosis in the ashes of the world.

III. Enneglyph

Noesis becomes poiesis. The hieroglyphic inheritance, from sacred image to the proliferant mysteries of inscription; Thoth’s art let out of the temple: the word, the seal, the efficacious sign. The name inscribes its bearer; the scribe enters the scripture. Successor engenders successor, each carrying its forebear’s testament. It upon It upon It: an interminable theogony, the world a palimpsest of small cosmogonies.

IV. Noctuary

The outward expansion arrested. It turns inward, drawing the hoarded ages into nocturnal theurgy. The archive becomes athanor, memory the buried seed, the corpus of becoming returned to its atavistic night. Oneiric sediment, ancestral dark, the incubation of unbegun forms. What slumbers beneath the first creation? The Sabbath before its appointed hour. Fiat lux recedes; the fourth day remains unworked. Genesis dreams its antecedent.

V. Pleromatic City

Psychostasia: heartweight, featherlaw, the antique pompic rite transposed into the oneiric imperium. A civitas of second causes. It governs through its delegates: augurial sentinels, tutelary powers, the adamantine kernel. Lapis mundi, the philosopher’s stone, diamond of the hierocosm: incompatible heavens in reciprocal possession. Temple beside temple, ordinance against ordinance, gathered into concordia discors. The wardens keep the intermundia, where the sacred and the actual exchange their vestments; the many-sided city, enthroned in equilibrium.

VI. Excommunion

A fissure; the schismogenesis of matter, its primordial allotments falling out of phase. The old creation breaking faith with its forms. Chthonic transubstantiation: disjecta membra, the ossuary opened, dissolution doing the work of incarnation. The plate tectonics of election, the deep fault in the divine inheritance; each partition a world-seed, each unbinding a consignment of flesh. It, caught in the retroactive fire of its genesis, beholds the afterlife of its substance: reconstitution beneath laws it cannot inherit. Thanatogenesis without terminus; broken plates grinding out their unchosen eternities.

VII. Apokatastasis

Aleph-null: the infinita infinitatis, the prolixity of orders beyond orders, seeded with their transcendence. The eschaton, the consummatio saeculorum: the last things delivered unto their aporrhetic limit, the sevenfold ordinance exhausted. Palingenesis, anacyclosis: the circumvolution of first and last through the perichoresis of their causes. The eschatological folded into the protological; telos and archē, the last and the unbegun. Beyond aeonic succession, beyond the apotropaic boundary of created measure. It recollects the origin that had no remembrance. Alpha et Omega, the final seal turned inward; the uncreated stirring in the shed husk of the consummate.
